Park Homes Factsheets
About the new protection for park home owners
A new Mobile Homes Act came into force in England in 2013. This increases the protection for park home owners, but placed new obligations on them to provide documentation when selling their park home. It also removes the park owner's automatic right to approve a new owner.
Government subsequently published a number of factsheets - these factsheets cover:
- Residents' rights and responsibilities
- Consolidated implied terms in park home pitch agreements
- Selling a home, and the forms that must be used
- Qualifying Residents' Associations
- Pitch fees and other payments to site owners
