Park Homes Factsheets
May 2013
A new Mobile Homes Act comes into force in England on 26 May 2013. This increases the protection for park home owners, but places new obligations on them to provide documentation when selling their park home. It also removes the park owner's automatic right to approve a new owner.
Government previously issued a number of Park Homes Factsheets - NB these are due to be updated.
The factsheets (which relate to the law before the new Act) cover:
- Residents' rights and responsibilities
- Consolidated implied terms in park home pitch agreements
- Selling a home
- Qualifying Residents' Associations
- Pitch fees and other payments to site owners
- Residential Property Tribunal
